How to Play Anarchy

Step-by-step setup

   Download both files

   Download these two ZIP files from the Downloads page:

   • Anarchy WoW Full Client (base client)
   • Latest Update (brings you to the newest version)
   Go to Downloads

   Extract both ZIPs

   Right-click each ZIP → Extract All. You should end up with two folders:

   • A folder for the Full Client
   • A folder for the Update
   Tip: Don’t run the game from inside a ZIP. Always extract first.

   Apply the update (copy + replace)

   This is the only “install” step.

   • Open the Update folder.
   • Select everything inside → Copy.
   • Open the Full Client folder → Paste into it.
   • When asked, click Yes to replace files.
   Important: You’re copying the update’s contents into the Full Client folder (not next to it).

   Launch and verify your version

   Open Anarchy.exe. On the login screen, look at the bottom-right for your version number.

   • If it matches the version shown on the Downloads page, you’re ready.
   • If it doesn’t, re-do Step 3 and make sure you clicked Replace.

   Log in and enter the world

   • Log in with your Anarchy account.
   • Select the Anarchy realm.
   • Create your character and you’re in.
