What is Anarchy?

Anarchy is a custom World of Warcraft 3.3.5a project with its own world, systems, and content. It’s built on the Wrath of the Lich King client but plays like a standalone expansion with new progression, features, and endgame goals.

Is Anarchy free to play?

Yes. Anarchy is completely free to play. There are no subscription fees, and there are no pay-to-win items or power advantages locked behind donations.

What patch / expansion does Anarchy use?

Anarchy runs on the World of Warcraft 3.3.5a enUS client. You’ll need this client to play; newer retail clients are not supported.

Is the server live yet?

Not yet. Anarchy is currently in pre-launch. You can already create your account and download the 3.3.5a client so you’re ready on day one. The Anarchy Game Files will become available when we announce launch on our Discord.

When is launch planned?

Our current target is December, but the exact date will be announced closer to release to avoid overpromising. Join Discord and keep an eye on the homepage for the official launch date and countdown.

How do I create an account?

Visit the Account Registration page and follow the instructions. This account will be used to log in to the game when Anarchy goes live.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

If you can’t log in, please contact a staff member in the support channels on Discord so we can help you recover access. A self-service password reset system may be added in the future.

Can I share my account with someone else?

No. For security and fairness, account sharing is not allowed. Keep your account information private and never give your password to anyone, including people claiming to be staff.

Will there be character wipes?

No. Anarchy does not do character wipes. Characters you create are intended to be permanent, and your progress will carry forward from launch onward.

What do I need to play Anarchy?

You need:

• A free Anarchy account (create one here).
• A clean World of Warcraft 3.3.5a enUS client (see the Downloads page).
• The Anarchy Game Files package, which will be released at launch.

Where do I download the 3.3.5a enUS client?

The client download link is listed on our Downloads page. We recommend extracting it to a dedicated folder and keeping it clean (no other private-server patches).

How do I get the Anarchy Game Files?

The Anarchy Game Files will appear on the Downloads page when we announce launch. We’ll ping everyone in Discord once they’re available.

Do I need to edit my realmlist?

Connection instructions will be included with the Anarchy Game Files and in the How to Play guide. Follow those steps exactly so your client connects to the correct realm.

Can I use my retail WoW installation?

No. Retail clients (modern Battle.net installations) are not compatible. You must use the 3.3.5a enUS client specifically for Anarchy.

What are the server rates?

Anarchy uses custom progression tuned for its own content rather than standard 1x/2x style rates. The goal is a smooth, story-driven leveling experience instead of ultra-fast or grindy leveling.

Does Anarchy have custom content?

Yes. Anarchy is built as a custom expansion with new systems and content, including new dungeons, encounters, and progression paths. You can read about the major features and changes on the Patch Notes page.

Is the game pay-to-win?

No. Donations support server costs and development, but all supporter rewards are strictly cosmetic (titles, mounts, pets, transmogs, fun skins, etc.). No items that provide power or gameplay advantages.

Will there be PvP and PvE content?

Yes. Anarchy is being designed with both PvE and PvP in mind, including dungeons, raids, and competitive content. More details will be revealed in patch notes and future announcements.

How can I support Anarchy?

The best ways to support Anarchy are:

• Contributing through the Support Us / Donate option in the site navigation.
• Joining the community on Discord and giving feedback.
• Sharing the project with friends who might enjoy it.

Every bit of support helps with hosting, development, and creating bigger, more polished updates.

What do supporters receive?

Supporters receive cosmetic-only perks such as special titles, mounts, pets, transmogs, and fun character skins, as well as a Discord supporter role. None of these perks provide extra stats or combat power.

The game won’t launch or connect. What should I check?

Once Anarchy is live, if you have trouble launching or logging in:

• Make sure you’re using the clean 3.3.5a client from the Downloads page.
• Verify you’ve installed the latest Anarchy Game Files correctly.
• Review the How to Play guide for troubleshooting tips.
• Check Discord for any downtime or maintenance announcements.

How do I report a bug or problem?

Please report bugs and issues in the appropriate channels on our Discord server. Include as much detail as possible (what happened, where, and how to reproduce it) so we can investigate quickly.
